Assignment for May 29th
Thank you for your posts. They are a contribution for everybody. I can see your enthusiasm for participating and putting your English into practice giving your opinions and points of view about different topics.
But let's get down to business. The assignment for next Friday is a question:
What was the best presentation that you could see during the past month?
There were 16 presentations, so you must have seen one of them at least. Give your arguments using the criteria established in the peer evaluation rubric or your own points of view. Be consistent and professional in your arguments.
The presentation that receives the biggest number of votes will get a special present. Needless to say that you are not supposed to talk about your own presentation.

I think one of the best presentation was what marjorie and estaban made ,because they had a good management of the topic thay have a good pronunciation ,they didn't read and their topic was very well explined and the slide changer with the remote control was very original and other could be the Karim's presentation because she was left alone(for any reason)and she could have a good management of the topic and she could save the situation that's all

Well, all the presentations were fine, obvioslly some of them were better than other, the best presentation was that marjorie and esteban did, I am agree with Fernando, they dominated the topic perfectly, I noticed that they studied a lot. The other presentation that I liked so much was the Pabla's presentation, she was very clear with her topic and ideas, She was mainly original. Her gold coins were delicious!!!

I believe that the best presentation was that the Daniela's made about "Barbados" it was so great and the slides were fine too, I really like her pronunciation I think she has a very good English and that was the best. on the other hand she could manage so well the situation. I like so much.
ResponderEliminarand the another that I like me so much was the presentation about "India" I think the presenter was Jenny, this presentation I like because was great and the dessert were delicious and strange.
I liked the irish presentation because i think that bringing the music and the candies gave a personal touch to the presentation, althought their englis pronunciation and thiey couldnt mannage a 100% of the topics but the music was very creative the candies, the slides and even linking the topic with willie form the simpsons.

I think that the best presentation was barbados (I agree with dafne). I think that Daniela was the best because she had and she has a wonderful pronunciation (in my personal opinion),so I really liked it, and she all the time dominated the topics very well and of course she was able to answer the questions perfectly.

The presentation that I emphasize inside all those that I attended, is that of Barbados, because it fulfilled with all the indications and especially the presenter had an excellent managing of the topic and she showed great character and control of her person.

ResponderEliminarAll the presentations were interesting in many aspects, becouse now we know more about many countries, for example how many of them belong to the kingdom of the Queen Elizabeth. I chose the Ingland presentation instead other becouse Karen worked very hard on it, she had to choose into many important information, Ingland is the most important country in Europe, so she decided the correct material and most interesting aspect and finally she was confident during her presentation.

ResponderEliminarI liked the presentations, I learned a lot of the countries exposed by my classmates, also I got new vocabulary. But, I think that the presentation that to attract my attention was Barbados (Dont remeber her last name but her name is Daniela).
I liked her pronuntation and confidence when she demostrate the topic. Congratulations.

All presentations were very good, I think that all improve your personality to present in front others and of course your English but one caaptured my attention completely.
ResponderEliminarI was one of the three persons who saw this presentation. It was United States, I don´t remember the name of the girl who presented it. Anyway, this presentation was very cool for me...in which sense? Simple presented alone and all the topics that the rubric said. She didn´t read, she had a explanation for every picture that her presentation had. It was one of the most complete presentation that I saw.
Probably her pronunciation wasn´t very good, but it is something that all can improve with practice.

I think that the best presentaion was the karen abaut Ingland and the other was Dafne because two presentation were so great they dominated the topic.Karen I liked the presentation so much because she was orderly and well prepared , the material was interesting , attractive, creative and the atmosphere was pleasent and the te was grate and Dafne was very clear with her topics and pronunciation Ilike so much.

I think that the best one was pablas' presentation, because she was well prepared, the slides were very attractive and I should say that I enjoyed the chocolate coins. Other thing is that she had to prepared all the topic alone and I know (for my own experience) that it is difficult choose the correct information, especially when the theme is extensive like in this case (Ireland). So "Thumb up" for her!!

In my opinion how many classmates said before all the presentation was interesting because all of them had many information that I didn’t know and for me it exercise was very good for our language acquisition but I must to admit that my favorite presentation was Indian’s country by jenny retamal because seemed to me very interesting because I had never eaten Indian’s food and it had a special taste and I liked too much also I liked Cynthia and Silvana’s presentation all over the part when they put in on the clothes in the blackboard it was so creative and also i like my friend´s presentation (Valeria Concha)because it seemed to me that she have progressed very much.

I think that the best was Daniela's presentation about ''barbados'', because she was well prepared (information about small countries is not easy to find), moreover, she handled the information in a appropiate way, Also the pronunciation and accent that she has is fantastic, I liked too much listen to her. For those reasons, I will say once again, for me the best presentation.

I think that all presentations were very usefull for all of us because some information was acquired in a didactic way, that´s why the presentation give us a easy learn.

ResponderEliminarI really enjoyed Karen`s presentation about “ENGLAND”, because it was very interesting.
ResponderEliminarFirst of all, visual aids were very appopiate, the slides contained precise information and we could note that she worked hard, by means of select correct topics, also the atmosphere was pleasant and she was very funny.
I have to emphasize that the interaction with the audience is indispensable, for the reason that we, as auditors pay attention with enjoyment to the presenter, as a consequence all this have a good result.
As a conclusion, for a next presentation we will improve our expositions trying to sort out our mistakes and considering the presentation rubric that our teacher gave us.

ResponderEliminarI want to say that for me the best was Pabla's presentation, because she made a great presentation, with all the requirements that a good presentation needs.
The presentation in general was so organized, she had a great personality in front of the class,the atmosphere was pleasent, she really had the control about her topic.
The visual aids that she used were fantastics,a lot of pictures about the country " Ireland",and furthermore she gave chocolates, and that was something really original, because that chocolate represented the gold coin, which is so typical about the legend in this country, and so I liked it so much this presentation.
