What is your general evaluation of the first English III semester? Has your English improved or do you feel you're stuck? Do you consider yourself a successful learner? If I think that the first semester of 2008 that I felt so bad because in this time the teacher that made me language English II, he made me feel so reduced and I felt so much scared to speak in English and wrote too. and in the second semester that thnks God and another person that allowed the change o the section and could met the Teacher that all we know, it was so different to me because I felt the energy that the teacher give me the courage for to talk in English and continue to get in front and express all the ideas that I want besides the way in which she encourages me to obtain the energy to fight for my English and my career, due to she shows me that thing and this thing for me is so important. I think that my English is much better that the another year. nowaday I could say that my English is more fluently than before. of course I feel that I can be a successful learner.
ResponderEliminarI thik that I have to exercise more is speaking and heard, because sometimes I feel a little scare in other signatures express myself about the thing that the other teachers like but anyway I have to do it.
In my opinion, I think that could be better so I have to been able to speak louder and more fluently and more than I have until now. I think I should speak more than I did it, so I thin the best way in which I can exercise my English is write some copies about English, based in an English novels and read in English some books that I want to read of course or may be in a web page that the teacher told us (in free PDF)anoter thing is call some classmate for example to speak in English.
On the other hand I think that my English is more improve. However, I make mistake anyway so considering all the things that I tell before is so important that I'm going to do the way in which I have to exercise, I mean, the way in which I must do it in my winer vacations or when I stay at home, for example, listen to music n English, watch some movies of course in English.
p.d.: I must to tell you that the thing that I write here is that I lived, and of course I don't be an a hang down, obviously is something that happened me. and know I think my English is much better.
I believe that this semester has been very hard for my, but as everything in the life the efforts are rewarded. Lucky, I believe that my performance has been good and in relation to last year I feel that my English level has improved considerably, also I believe that my pronunciation and the safety when I speak in English improves every day.
ResponderEliminarIt is important to say that all these advances in my and in many of my classmates it is thanks to the safety and confidence that there gives our teacher of English language III. This is my humble opinion.
In relation with my weaknesses I think that I feel very insecure when I write. I would like to continue reinforcing this skill.
On the other hand, I consider that the best ways or ideas to exercise our English at home, for instance, watch some movies, write in english, listen to music,etc. The idea is not to lose the practice on winter vacations.

ResponderEliminarI don't know if I've improved during this year but if I go back to the frist year at the University and I compare with my current level I can say that I've improved a lot,I had to go through a lot of things,one of them maturation,I have acquired responsability,I have centered in what I want,I don't spend my time in senceless things and the like.
Maybe this could sound very arrogant(I've been for having arrogance in my words)but I considered my self in a good level,of course I have to learn a lot of things more,but if I am where I am is because of something and believe me,it's not a matter of luck,it's a matter of effort and of course,without intelligence the efforts are useless.
I've never liked to be criticized constructively or destructively maybe because it's a matter of pride but I like to know your oppinion teacher.
Maybe some words of this post could sound arrogant.
I am very self demanding with me and because of that sometimes I am not very objective.

In my opinion, This semester has been so frakin' difficult to me, with so many problems at home and in my personal life that I couldn't be really into the English. Although I've been asking classmates about the classes ant topics seen in them and i'm not talking only about Lengua, in all the other classes I've had to deal with this situaton. In some level I think I've improoved my vocabulary but i think I still need to practice some specific pronunciation.

Well there you have, I hope someone watch movies too to comment them in next semester's classes!

ResponderEliminarIn my english progress this semester has been very helpful, I am really entertained by the methods used in class, the strategies apply by the teacher are the adequates for me for the reason that all the subjects seen in class are not forgotten easily, in view of the fact that we are reassessment the contents and this is a effective way to internalize and keep in use words learned in the class.
ResponderEliminarI feel very comfortable in this study group, I can give my opinions and my english has improved, I`ve learned more vocabulary and I am able to apply it in conversations.
I consider grammar, vocabulary and oral practice of the language as a effective exercises in my process of learning, the most important is practice english because I really want to getting better for instance I consider it would be more appropriate work in groups thus we can exchange opinions, discussions and make it in a dynamic way.
A good way to practice at home like my classmates said is watching some movies, reading magazines, translate lyrics and listening to music.

I think that this semester wos very good for me because I found the best teacher of englsh,whit her it wos so different because Iam very happy whit the teacher Marcela she is very good teacher she explain the exercices and the subject ,vocabulary ,grammar and she help to understand the subjects she is dynamic and I feel very confortable in class

I have a very good general evaluation for the first English III semester, because I learned many different things and I also acquired new vocabulary related to the English subject.
ResponderEliminarI think that my english have improved in different ways, I mean, pronunciation, new knowledge related to english countries and I’m trying to participate a lot in the class, and of course is a very good way to learn many, many things.
I consider myself as a succesfull learner, because I feel that I’m not stuck. I’m generally developing more knowledge and for that reason I feel good with myself.
I would really like to speak a bit more, maybe we can debate with the classmate different topics or maybe we should do another presentation too.
I guess the best way to exercise our English at home when we're on winter vacation is watching movies ( british or american or hollywood movies) whatever you prefer. As well we could be listening music all the day. When you go to the bathroom, when you go to your bed, when you are washing the dishes, an so on.

I dont know, read a book could be another great exercise, the music too (in english obiously) is so nice for your spirit and your soul and to learn english (your pronuntation could be better)etc.

ufff this semester has been a litle complicated by all the things that i have to do,and sometimes i feel tired but anyway I am better that the last year, on vacations i saw many movies and i tried to read more, in phonetics and reading comprehension i have advanced. for the next semester it has to be better becouse the idea is learn more and achieve my objectives as teacher .
ResponderEliminarI think this semester has been very successful to me because in the English three’s classes I have learned a lot because the contents has been taught in a way that it is difficult to forget and the exercises that we have done it has been helpful for our practice in terms of writing and speaking.

I think too that we must exercise more our listening part because I have a big problem with this.

ResponderEliminarI think that this semester I have improved my speaking skills, because now I have more fluency. In writing, also I’m working better, because mistakes and errors are not usual like the last year.
I know that I’m not doing my best effort, but I expect that next semester everything is going to be all right. At least I want to do all better than now.
The main aspect that I have to consider to improve is my attendance because I’m too lazy, and I’m not learning what I have to learn.
I think that a good idea to exercise our English would be to do what we like to do, for example people who likes music can translate some lyrics, people who likes to be informed can make essays about the most important news of the week, something very similar to what we have been doing in this blog, but in anyway, is very important review our English book, to understand doubts or something misunderstanding in class.

hello, I feel that my english haven´t improved, I think I´m stuck, because I hadn´t have so time to study, I have 7 subject and I had tried to divide my time, but it is very difficult, I think that I haven´t can give the time that It need English III, that´s why I feel I haven´t learnd too much.

Well, I have noticed that this semester has been as good as the previous, I mean, I feel comfortable with our teacher and classmates.

So, this semester I have learned a lot of new things, a new words, also I learnd something about other countries,things that I had no idea. thanks to the presentations. but I need to improve my pronuntiation and to expand my vocabulary. I hope to achieve it.I would like to speak more but I feel insecure.
A goog alternative to not lose English could be, reading a book or magazines in your free time, or watching an entertaining movie.

I think taht I am stuck, primarily this is my foult because I am not comming to classes as I should, but I do not feel as motivated as I was last year, I think this is because we are lossing too much time in reading comprenhension and with the presentations. I would like to have more phonetics activities, or learning something new, or I do not know. Also I like reading activities, grammar activities and all this stuff, I like to improve my english. At home I am all day long speaking in english so I try to do it by my self, but I would like to do it in classes, with my classmates. But, I am going to put more effort and I am going to be the best of the class again, just like last year :D!!!

I could say that my english this semester has improved pretty much and I believe that I can be better. I'm new in all this pedagody thing and I feel and think that I'm good in this. I have learned a lot abot grammar, phonetic and vocabulay, but I know that I can learn so much more though. I believe that next semester will be better than this one because I'll be more used to the career and because I really love english in all it ways. In my winter holidays I will do the same things that I do now to improve my english, for example I'm going to listening to music in english, also I'll be watching movies without subtitles and read everything in english. Maybe also I'm going to talk with my american friends. I think that if I practice more I will be much better than now.
