this video was amazing! i just loved it, the values are so implicit in it. This video shows the important aspect of the friendship and when you know that someone is doing something bad and you're being part of it, you ust can't let it happend it's what we do what defines us, and the little muppet showed courage sacrificing itself to save its partners. the quality was awesome to be a short movie the effects are very good so I hope all of you get something remarcable from this short movie.

Once again, as I say in the previous video, the animation is amazing! The quality is good, also the colors are ok.
ResponderEliminarThe intention that this video tries to transmit us, I mean the message is a great love, maybe those voodoo dolls are relatives (Mum, Dad, sister or brother) or maybe they have a nice friendship. The protagonist tries to show what we can do for people who we love. In this case he gives his life for his family or friends and he saves from a terrible death.
I think the video is a bit sad animation, maybe a little depressing, but is a very good short film, very beautiful.

Sebastian’s Voodoo is an animated short by Joaquin Baldwin, a UCLA grad student working towards his MFA in animation. It was amazing, is the first time that I saw a video like this, about voodoo, it was incredible. the best part and the saddest part was when the little doll safe his friend. in the video I can find an important value that is the friendly and the loyalty for doll's friend, it was incredible. I like so much.

It was a animation very interesting I think that joaquin wanted demostrate that we as a human being should be more solidaries with the neighbor because we have feeling and the doll haven´t feeling, and anyhow that doll gave the life for his friend, or family.

The main value that this movie gives us is the friendship and what a friend can do for other one. What voodoo doll did is what all of us must do for people who we love or is important, never let that other people make harm to our family or friends.

fantastic!!! the first that i thought when i saw the movie was that when someone wants to hurt or cause damage to other person is like to hurt to yourself if you want to cause damage to other person probably it going to return to you, sometimes humans being forget that we are humans and we act as real wild animals just seeing our convenience without care what is happening to other. And i'm not pretending looks like a good person becouse I've act of a bad way many times, sometimes I haven't realised but anyway i've done like everyone. I think that if you give good thing you are going to recieve the same if you brave with a good purpose in your life you will be able to change your future. very good movie...
ResponderEliminarIn my opinion this animation is very interesting for the reason that transmit values and in terms of production the video is created with a high level of technology and I felt very attracted for it. The characters are admirable, their movements and physical features are good elaborated.
ResponderEliminarAt the beginning of the video is very strong because is quite diffcult see anybody suffering, in addition the values that i could realize are friendship, loyalty, solidarity because the doll saved the other ones and for me is an important issue. I think that the main message that the video transmit is the sacrifice made for somebody.

Sorry, but i was in shock after seeing the video, in one hand, the bravery that have to have the voodoo to save the others and kill itself is something that not always someone do for anothers, i mean in real life it's something that is not common or it doesn't exist actually, sacrifice your life to save your friends or someone who you love, it's a kind of act of love or something like that, something that represents your values and your ideals.

Time ago, I found a video that tells the story of a cartoon called kiwi, who can't fly and he has dremt always with that, so he tries to found the way to do it, finally he achive his porpouse... fly, but he had to risk an very very important thing to obtain what he always whished.

First of all, I have to say this video is really fun, and I liked it so much, I think that is good have a child inside of us, and I enjoyed this video, furthermore I like this kind of movies, Disney movies.
ResponderEliminarThe best part for me was the end, when the magician was saved by the rabbit, and the magician finished the presentantion with a great actitud despite of the problems that he had with the rabbit.
In relation to the rabbit, at the begining of the video I thought that he was a harmless rabbit, and I felt bad for the rabbit because it Was hungry,but finally it was really intelligent rabbit because he showed to the magician that it was more importantant than the hat, and finally everbody finished happy.
That was my comment.
